Bayne AR for Apple Vision Pro

Bayne AR turns your room into a ruined keep in Arkandia, the world of BAYNE, and sends Lord Bayne's undead after you. If something isn't working, the answers to the common questions are below. Anything else, email gary@gtacompanies.com and we'll reply within two working days.

Getting started

Pick Just play to go straight in, or make your own character first.
When the loading ring appears, look slowly round your room: the floor, every wall, and the doorways. The more it sees, the better Arkandia fits your room. You can pinch to build it at any time.

How to fight

Sword: it's in your right fist. Swing your arm, not just your wrist.
Spells: close your left hand into a fist and hold it until the flame in it flares bright. Then throw your hand forward and open it at the enemy. Hold the fist longer for a full-power cast. Frost unlocks at level 4 and storm at level 8.
Small enemies have a red glow on the floor. If something attacks you from below or behind, the game tells you where it is.

Camping, saving and quitting

Camp (under your health bar) stops the fight, lights a fire, heals you and saves.
Menu → Save & leave saves and returns you to your room. Your progress also saves as you play.

If the room looks wrong

Furniture in the wrong place, or a wall where there isn't one: open Menu → Settings → Rescan room, then look round slowly again.
Play in a well-lit room with some clear floor. Arkandia keeps everything solid away from where you stand and walk.

Safety

Bayne AR is played in your real room. Keep the space around you clear, and stay aware of real furniture, walls, people and pets. Take a break if you feel tired or unwell.

Early access to BAYNE

Bayne AR players get early access to BAYNE, the full MMO, and so does every friend they invite. Join from Menu → Early access in the game, or on the waitlist. It's optional, and the game is fully playable without it.
